Acharya Polytechnic College Salem was started in the year of 2009 located at Meikkal Reddiyur Salem Tamil Nadu, It is an affiliated college. The institute is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and currently delivers diploma courses in engineering. This college is spread across a 5.36 acre area, and has an overall enrolment capacity of 188 students, while 34 faculty members work here. The college offers four regular diploma courses: Mechanical engineering, Electrical and electronics engineering, Electronics and communications engineering and Civil engineering.

The functional facilities of Acharya Polytechnic College, Salem diverse to meet the various needs of the students in their learning and personal development processes. The campus contains two different hostels for boys and girls respectively to provide accommodation amenities for students travelling from different parts of the country. Besides, an equipped library forms a core of knowledge in result of which students get both extensive amount of necessary learning materials. Each discipline of the college has their laboratory through which the students’ can get the practical experience to implement theory . There is college auditorium on our campus which entails different programmes like seminars and other co-curricular activities. Student health is also valued that is why the institute provides a medical centre with first aid facilities. Also, Acharya Polytechnic College has provided an excellent IT infrastructure to support and enhance students’ viable modes of learning with state of the art systems, tools and technology.

Acharya Polytechnic College offers four full-term diploma courses only and all of them are regular courses. The combined approved intake of the institute in all courses is 240 seats.
