Adhi College of Engineering and Technology was established in 2008  and is an affiliated college, situated at Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. The ACET institute is spread across an area of 10.43 acres and has diverse facilities offering a number of courses in Engineering. It is recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This technical institution has been established to educate 1005 students enrolled and has 107 members of faculty staffs. The college teaches 6 courses in 1 degree programme and focuses on different branches of Egineering such as computer science, electronics and communication engineering, artificial intelligence and data science.

ACET provides a number of facilities that allow the college to offer its students a convenient space for learning. The college library is located at the Main Building and occupies an area of 4,720 sq. fts and the college has over a stock of 16841 books and 45 national and international journals. The college has functional laboratories for each branch of engineering, in order to encourage practical learning among the students. The Physics Lab (2000 sq ft.), Chemistry Lab (1750 sq ft), Electronics Lab (2000 sq ft.), Mechanical Lab (1813.44 Sq. Mts.), Civil Lab (1813.44) Sq. Mts. provide sufficient practical session, experiments and mini project works. The college also has two different hostels for male and female candidates, each provided with the required facilities. A  two storey canteen building provides North & South Indian food. In this regard, concerning physical fitness, ACET has a gym and different opportunities to play various sports, which help students’ growth.

At the undergraduate level it offer the following Be courses: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Information Technology  All the undergraduate courses are full-time programmes with a duration of four years. The total approved intake for the BE programmes will be 360 and the number of seats in respective fields will be Computer Science and Engineering – 60, Electrical and Electronics Engineering– 60, Electronics & Communication Engineering –60, Mechanical Engineering – 60, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science – 60,  and Information Technology – 60.

Admission into the ACET is open only through composite scores whether for undergraduate programmes. For undergraduate admission, the college given weightage to the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). The college also has an alumni association where students can get in touch with the college’s former students.
