Adwaita Mission Training College, Banka was established in the year 2006 and is situated at Mandar Vidyapeeth, this affiliated college obtained recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education. Spread over a compact 2.8-acre campus, this co-ed college has two specialised teaching programs with an enrolment of 267 students and 16 experienced teachers on board.

The institution has many facilities to enhance the learning experiences of the students. There is a well-equipped and well-endowed library-cum-reading room with a comprehensive collection of reference materials, and recommended books on the B.Ed. course, and various educational journals and periodicals. Adwaita Mission Training College also has resourceful facilities such as the ICT Resource Centre, Psychology Lab, Curriculum Lab, Language Lab, special labs for Health & Physical Education, Art & Craft, and Science & Mathematics. These institutions provide practical learning by teaching skills in practice. There are sport facilities and gym for the physical well-being of students at the institution. 

Adwaita Mission Training College offers two regular courses in teacher education at the degree level, Bachelor of Education, B.Ed., and Diploma in Elementary Education, D.El.Ed. Both of these are two-year courses introduced to introduce students to teaching and successful careers in the field of education. These courses shall equip the students with the necessary pedagogical skills and subject knowledge with practical experience for effective teaching in schools.

Admission to the Adwaita Mission Training College is merit-based with regards to the marks obtained in the qualifying and/or entrance examination. The affiliated college follows the state government of Bihar and the policies of the affiliated university with regard to admission. B.Ed. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination or as per the selection process constituted by State Govt. and University guidelines. D.El.Ed. The admission shall be on the basis of merit in qualifying examination or any other entrance examination whichever is in practice, as per policy of the State Govt./UT administration.
