Agricultural College and Research Institute is one of the major constituent colleges started in the year 1984, situated in Killikulam, Sivagangai District, Tamil Nadu. This institute situated in Vallanadu, Thoothukudi District, Tamil Nadu, is purely involved in the continued development of agricultural knowledge. Presently, ACRI provide 8 courses with 2 levels of degrees for a total of 521 enrolment. This institute offers 8 courses in their curriculum for undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. The undergraduate programme is the B.Sc Agriculture (Hons), while the postgraduate programmes are M.Sc Agronomy, Economics, Entomology, Extension Education, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology and Soil Science. All these courses are full time and the objective of all these courses is to equip the students with intensive knowledge and practical experience in any chosen area of agriculture.
