About Al-Ameen Engineering College, Erode
Al-Ameen Engineering College (AEC), started its functioning in the year 2009 and is located at Nanjai Uthukuli, Tamilnadu. This is an autonomous institution, approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, this institution offers different programmes in engineering. Located on a campus of 33 acres, AEC Erode has 756 students and 75 faculties. The college has 9 programmes in total Within two degree level and focused on different branches of engineering. AEC is NAAC accredited, therefore it is an institution that embraces the provision of quality education.
Al-Ameen Engineering College is equipped with well developed facilities to assist the student’s needs in their learning process. Each department has well-equipped laboratories on its campus so that practical knowledge, competence is achieved. Over 11,731 books and 147 national and international journals along with e-journals availabe in a modern library facility. The computing facilities are well-developed; there is an air conditioned central computer with 360 Core i3 systems and high internet speed. For student benefit, the college has hostel accommodation for males and females, that has features such as study room, and play room. Student health and safety is provided by a medical center that operates all through the year together with a resident doctor. It also has sports facilities, gym and canteen which provides hygienic food for students as well.
At AEC Erode students can study 9 courses which are under undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In undergraduate programme, it offers 6 full time BE/B.Tech programmes, at postgraduate level it provides 3 ME programmes. These are amongst some of the famous undergraduate programmes where BE Mechanical Engineering and BE Computer Science and Engineering will have an intake of 60 students and where BE Electronics and Communication Engineering, BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering, B.Tech Information Technology and B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science will offer another 30 students each. Computer Science and Engineering is available at the postgraduate levels for an intake of 6 students.

As a private un-aided institution, Al-Ameen Engineering College admits students on the merit obtained in the qualifying examinations, as well as through TNAE counselling.
