Aladi Aruna College of Nursing founded in 2007, is one of the leading nursing colleges, situated in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. Situated at Sivalarkulam, Alangulam Taluk, this affiliated college is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), for quality education in nursing science. The college occupies a comfortable 40 acre land which is essential for the physical, academic and social development of students. The total number of students at the institute is 224 and the total number of faculty members is 29 making it convenient for faculty members to guide each student individually. There are two full-time nursing programs at the Aladi Aruna College of Nursing – both are aimed to women only, and this is because nursing colleges are helping the minority improve in a very few profession.

The college strive in offering enriched education as it embrace the complex and modern learner requirement comes with fully equipped campus resources. The Library section of the campus includes reading Room, Journal Section, Photocopying & Internet Browsing facilities including the latest editions of the books/journals from Indian as well as Foreign Publication houses. To provide practical experience, the college has academic specialty laboratories comprising of Anatomy, Nutrition, Fundamentals of Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Maternity Nursing, etc.

Aladi Aruna College of Nursing currently offers two nursing programs, consist of a four year B.Sc Nursing. The B.Sc Nursing prepares students for nursing profession while the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course is for those who already have a nursing qualification and wish to have a further training.

The selection process followed by this college in admitting students is as per the standard set by the government to allow efficiency in the admission of students. For the B.Sc Nursing program the requirement is that main original certificates of selected candidates have to be deposited at the time of admission, would be retained till the course & Internship period is completed.
