    Amala College of Education Salem was started in 2010 and this is affiliated college situated in Morasapatti Idappadi Tamil Nadu. This institution which is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education NZC (NCTE) has specialised in the training of teachers. Located a huge plot of land of 8.23 acres the college provides right ambiance for the aspiring educators. Amala college of education offers an enrolment of 75 for all its courses and has a faculty strength of 15 that provides individual attention in addition to proper education to the students.

    The college consists of countless amenities intended to support students’ education process. A sample library that is well equipped provides information to the students and members of the faculty. The science laboratory is furnished with several models, charts and apparatus to facilitate practical engagements for the B.Ed. students. An independent psychology laboratory also provides a variety of psychological testing and instruments whereby students get practical experience in the assessment of behaviors. The college’s Internet connected computer enrichment area is a perfect Mock classroom to acquaint future teachers with the realities of the modern digital world. For extra curricular activities as well as functions, a big hall with a seating capacity of more than 500 students has been provided.
