Amrita College of Engineering and Technology better known as Amrita College, Nagercoil was started in the year 1999. This is a private college approved by AICTE, Chennai and affiliated to Anna University Chennai providing UG and PG courses in engineering and management. Located on a campus over 25.44 acres, ACET has total strength of 1,079 students and a teaching staff of 96 members. Institute deals with 9 courses in 3 degrees with the specialisation in different fields of engineering and management. The student composition of ACET at undergraduate level is 73 %male students and 27% female students while at postgraduate level there are 88% female students.
Amrita College of Engineering and Technology, Nagercoil is virtually furnished with all the amenities required for helping in achieving academic success and improving the quality of the students’ life. There are well-equipped science laboratories for practical jobs, junior and senior library rich in teaching learning resources, and a sport complex for physical training and team spirit.
