Eligibility Criteria
Master’s degree or a professional degree equivalent to a master’s with at least 55% aggregate.
Candidates who have cleared the MPhil course work with at least 55% aggregate in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale.
Admission Details
Pune University PhD admission is subject to an entrance exam conducted by SPPU, i.e. PhD Entrance Test (PET). However, those who have qualified in UGC NET (including JRF)/ CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE or teacher fellowship holders are exempted from the university-conducted entrance exam.
