Anjuman-I-Islam’s Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Mumbai, was set up in 1993 and represents one of the leading schools of hospitality. Founded as a co-educational institute in Mumbai, this institute is situated at 92, Dr D N Road, opposite C.S. M.T. The institute has been serving the hospitality industry for the last 28 years. Being an affiliated college, it provides facilities that combine theoretical knowledge and skills needed for viability within the highly competitive hospitality industry. The total number of students enrolled at IJET is 387, and the faculty members are 28 in number, so that every learner receives individual attention and quality learning.

Anjuman-I-Islam’s Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, established in 1993, is located in Fort, Mumbai, opposite Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. The institute is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Anjuman-I-Islam’s Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology has a fully equipped library that boasts more than five thousand five hundred books that touch on almost every aspect of hospitality, from cuisines of different regions and continents to management and development of value. These are complemented by over 400 CD-ROMS and video cassettes, as well as subscriptions to many national and international periodicals and journals. The college also has a fully equipped modern auditorium designed for seminars, workshops, and presentations. Apart from academics, the institute provides various facilities for the students. Anjuman-I-Islam IHMCT also has a limited course list that is exclusively affiliated with hospitality and catering training. The institute provides three programmes: a full-time B.Sc in Hospitality Studies, a full-time B.Sc in Hospitality and Catering Service, and a part-time M.Sc. in Hotel and Hospitality Administration. These programmes can be as general as those aimed at providing education to fresh graduates or as specific as providing professional development among working professionals focusing on the hospitality industry.
