Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology, also commonly known as AMCET, was started in the year of 2012 in Vellore, Tamil Nadu is an affiliated college. AMCET covers 25 acres of land and is recognised by the AICTE, All India Council for Technical Education. A student enrolment of 567 and a faculty strength of 106 make the atmosphere of AMCET, ergo, affording a viable medium for technical learning.

It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Anna University, Chennai.  AMCET has many and varied facilities that support the learning process of its students. The college Library has an area of 866 sqm. The library facility also includes books, journals and other digital resources having 8491 books, 162 Journals currently to enhance its learning of the student community & faculties. The college also values the health of its students through having a first aid service for students and staff at its health centre. The institute has a pool of engineering and management programmes; in totality, the institute offers as many as 8 courses across two degree levels.  As for the main specialisations of the college, the programme offers Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, Mechanical, and Information Technology. 

Admission at this university is done according to course-specific requirements for admission at AMCET. In the engineering programmes, the college takes into account performance in the relevant entrance exams. The MBA programme also entails other requirements that any person seeking to join must meet.
