Arihant College of Education, Bareta, started in the year 2015 is affiliated college in Mansa district of Punjab. This NCTE approved institution, mainly focus on teacher education. The college is located in an area of 0.867 acres and at present, it has an admitted strength of 180 students and 13 teaching faculties. Arihant College of Education has only one course of its own, that is Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) for which it has been providing education since 2001. The B.Ed course is a full time course of two years.

Arihant College of Education has amenities to facilitate its mission of offering education in its capacities as a teaching and learning institution. Another exceptional facility is the library that contains about 6000 books and 10 journal in education. It also has integrated ICT based technology in its system to favor learning process. For practical training, the college contain well equipped laboratories for performing practical. The psychology lab has several psychological instruments and tests for individual, personal health, and career counseling services or advice. The facilities available include science lab with apparatus and models in physics, chemistry and biology. The language lab uses software to improve students’ language comprehensiveness in all aspects.

At present, Arihant College of Education has designed only one course that is the Bachelor of Education(B.Ed) This is a full time course with an approved strength of 100 seats, the college is committed to provide quality teacher education. The B.Ed programme is offered with an aim of producing professional teachers who have the capacity to teach effectively. The total enrolment is consistent with the intake capacity of 180 students.

The admission procedure of Arihant College of Education is in compliance with the norms stated in the Government and University laws of the State Government, UT Administration and affiliating University. Admission to candidates are offered depending on the marks they gained in the qualifying and or entrance tests. The college may also be using other techniques of selection depending on the current policies in that institution.
