Arya Mahila Vidyapeeth Shiksha Sankul Bharatpur was established in 1980 which is affiliated college only for women and located in Bharatpur Rajasthan. It is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the College has diversified departments that offer Introduction, Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses. Total students intake of the college is 514 and total faculty is 11, so college offers a gender specific environment for female students. The university located at Bhusawar Bharatpur has 41 programmes in 7 areas of study in their education stream, arts, science, and commerce streams.

The college also has a complex of facilities intended to improve the educational process of students in the college. The campus is fully equipped with adequate class rooms, a library which comprises of about 2900 books and different subject practicals like Botany, Chemistry, Home Science, Zoology, Geography etc. For co-curricular activities there are provided college sports and a gym. It also has an auditorium for various functions and seminars besides hostels, canteen facilities for lunch and a health centre with a first aid service. This round we were impressed by the girls’ hostel that comes equipped with multiple amenities and has security that is supervised by wardens. The college’s IT systems help to deliver digital learning while there is a convenient store and transport facilities to meet students’ needs.

AMVSS today offers full time graduate and post graduate courses in faculties of science, technology, commerce and management, education, and liberal arts. The institute offers 41 courses across various departments.

Admission procedure in Arya Mahila Vidyapeeth Shiksha Sankul depends upon the course which one wants to pursue. The admission to the B.Ed programme is done as per the conduct of Pre-Teacher Education Test PETET conducted by the Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur as per NCTE norms. For other undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, admissions are usually offered based on merit, and the candidates’ performance in their qualification examination is adopted.
