The Asan Memorial College of Engineering and Technology, AMCET was set up in 2002 and is an affiliated college situated in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. Located over a vast area of forty-five acres of land and environment, AMCET is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). There are seven undergraduate engineering programmes offered in the institute which has a capacity to admit 270 engineering students. AMCET has a student –faculty ratio where the faculty strength at the institution is as follows: 48 and the students strength is 2100.

Asan Memorial College of Engineering and Technology  has many facilities all current to enhance the learning process of the students. The college library has over 18000 books in its catalogue in fields of engineering and technology. The campus has functional research laboratories to enable students get practical experience. All the hostels for the students of AMCET are separate for boys and girls which consist of large number of rooms, dinning hall and playing area. The boys hostel has an accommodation capacity of 266 students and that of the girls hostel is 189 students beds. A 3500 sq.ft canteen facility also makes provision for a cafetaria situated in the proximity of the academic blocks to provide students with a resting and eating area.

Asan Memorial College of Engineering and Technology  has a total of seven full-time programmes of Bachelor of Engineering (BE) which is a 4 years under graduate course in Cyber Security, Electronics and Communication, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and Mechanical Engineering.
