Ashoka School of Planning and Architecture (ASPA) was set up in 2015, under the ownership of Ashoka Educational Society, the institute is located at Malkapur village, Choutuppal Mandal, Nalgonda District, Telangana. An independent co-educational institution recognized by the council of architecture, the institute offers degree programmes in architecture and planning. ASPA is located in a small plot of 2 acres and has a multi class size of 146 enrollments in its institution and the faculty has 29 members. 

Ashoka School of Planning and Architecture has at it’s disposition all the necessary middle born facilities to cater for its academic courses and complement the students’ experience. Boys and girls hostel are available with modern facilities for residential students and they also have their own separate canteen facility. The institute has a well equipped library measuring 4000 sq ft with more than twenty-five thousand books and magazines on shelf, multimedia systems and patronised international journals. ASPA has a provisions for accommodating academicians and conducting academic discourses and ceremonies in its 200-seat seminar hall and three forty-seat hall equipped with audio and visual facilities. The campus features a Wi-Fi connection and ensures that students and members of the staff are connected online.

The total number of full time seats available in both the courses offered by the institute is 100. The B.Arch is their major course with, taking 80 students while the M.Arch takes 20 students. These programmes began as progressive efforts to ensure that students understand architecture, planning, and project management in order to become professionals in the trade.

Like all the other universities, ASPA admission is on a competitive basis whereby the organisation only admits candidates with the highest qualifications. As per the Council of Architecture, candidates seeking admission to B.Arch programme should pass in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main.
