Assam Textile Institute is one of the oldest institutions established in the very ancient year of 1920, situated in Guwahati, Assam, under the Kamrup District. This college has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, and since then, this affiliated college has been continuously developing professionals in textiles for more than a century. Located in a minute 0.6735-acre campus, the institute imparts three diploma courses with a total enrolment of 112 students over three streams. The highest intake is in the Textile Technology program, while both the Garment Technology and Fashion Technology programs offer 20 seats each.
