Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Medical College works in Vidisha, it was founded in 2018 and is situated in Madhya Pradesh, India. Located in a vast area of 27.09 acres, this government college is affiliated under the National Medical Commission (NMC) for medical education along with various other courses. The college has a total of 84 faculty members, and offers 13 programmes in 3 courses in medical specialties. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Medical College consists of diverse medical courses for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The largest programme in the college is the flagship MBBS programme which has an approved intake capacity of 180 students. It also has different post graduate courses with MD or MS with specialisation in Community Medicine, Biochemistry, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Physiology, Paediatrics, Pathology, ENT, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Microbiology, Ophthalmology and Forensic Medicine. These postgraduate programmes have intake capacities that are different from each other through the offered specialties with 2-7 seats. 

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Medical College has a selective admission system and contains tough admission standards. NEET-UG is done for specific course and it is a good idea to select faculties who are qualified enough to teach the MBBS program to students. NEET PG is the entrance examination through which candidates seek admission in the MD and MS programmes of any postgraduate college in India.
