Baba Dharmdev Balika Mahavidyalaya was founded in 2015 in Kaithwaliya, Mahpur, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. This institute has a total of 283 students and provides two degree programmes. The college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to maintain quality of education in the faculty of teacher education. The total faculty strength of the institute is 8 members and because of this student teacher ratio the institute offers better training to the students. The college is aimed at delivering comprehensive learning needs of its students. 

Baba Dharmdev Balika Mahavidyalaya has a well equipped library and reading room where students can find most of academic materials needed. In practical subjects, the institute facilitates laboratory facilities that rich the experience of the students through practical sessions. Appreciating the need for physical education, developmental playgrounds and sporting materials for the students are availed by the college. As a way of enhancing computer education, facilities are available by which students may be trained in technological ways. The college also includes an auditorium used for holding different performances and seminars to improve the life of the college. 

Baba Dharmdev Balika Mahavidyalaya offers two courses, a normal three-year Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme. The D.El.Ed programme has an intake capacity of 100 students as approved, in order to support teacher educating institute. The college has an intake capacity of 283 students. These programmes offer the student a good base in those fields for their further academic or professional progression. 

The admission system applies to this college differs based on the course to be studied. Admission for D.El.Ed programme is also taken through a Common Entrance Test or merit which is generally conducted by University or State Government. Thus, it guarantees that only the correct candidates receive a chance to achieve their educational potentials at the Institute.
