Baba Hira Das Ji Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital is the recently started college, having been started in 2015 and is situated in Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab. Located in the centre of Village Badal, this Ayurvedic medical college is located in five acres; it provides both ancient Ayurvedic knowledge as well as medical education of the twenty first century. Compact size of college: today, the college comprises 171 students and its members of faculty, that is 19 efficient specialists. With a focus on Ayurvedic studies, the institute offers two specialised courses: BAMS & D.Pharma the two programs/ courses exist to serve the need of those who wish to be qualified health care practitioners in the field of Ayurveda.

At the heart of the college is a range of facilities that support the learning process and offer health care solutions. At it heart is a 60 bed hospital which also has the provision for two private bedrooms as well as a four-bedded emergency area. The hospital provides several OPDs, which effectively manage chronic illness encompasses across different specialities. Operation Theatre and labour room is accessible with a well equipped surgical facility. For academic activities, the college has a library facility with modern amenities equipped with books of standard worldwide authors in Ayurveda and Modern Science newspapers and journals of different groups daily magazines. Another advantage is to have separate hostels for boys and girls thus making sure students get comfortable in their accommodation while studying.

Baba Hira Das Ji Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital offers two full-time courses. The two Courses are the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). The BAMS program offered in six years entails adequate knowledge in Ayurveda for the students to practice as professionals in this system of medicine. Also offered for two years, the D.Pharma course dovetails with the BAMS program by providing students with deeper understanding of pharmaceutical component of Ayurveda. 

The BAMS admission at Baba Hira Das Ji Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital is following the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) mostly. This examination is in national level to ensure the worthy candidates, who have strong background in science and passion towards Ayurveda.
