Babu Kamta Prasad Jain Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college of teacher education, situated in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. The institute was established in the year 2004 and has been guiding prospective teachers for almost two decades now. It is situated near Village Shahpur Barauli on the Delhi-Sharanpur Road, having a compact campus of 0.98 acres. The institute focuses on quality education with three full-time courses in education with a total student enrolment of 226. The faculty strength of the college is 28, thereby providing personal attention and service to the aspiring teachers. 

The institution is committed to providing an atmosphere that is conducive for learning. It has a well-stocked library that can be termed the nerve centre of all the academic activities, with the latest books and research publications, along with multimedia resources. The working place of computers, as the institution believes in their place in modern life; therefore, it has a computer lab equipped with 30 systems. Sports facilities for the overall development of students are available for playing indoor games like carom and table tennis and outdoor games such as volleyball, badminton, and basketball. The fitness freaks will have a gymnasium on campus. An auditorium is part of the campus for events and seminars, adding to the academic atmosphere. 

Babu Kamta Prasad Jain Mahavidyalaya offers three courses pertaining to the field of education: B.Ed., M.Ed., and D.El.Ed. All of these courses are full-time and two-year in duration. The interest in teacher education can pretty well be gauged from the options offered, which cater to various levels of education at school. 

The admission process differs for each course offered in Babu Kamta Prasad Jain Mahavidyalaya. The candidate has to appear in the entrance examination conducted by Lucknow University for a B.Ed course. For M.Ed, the programme follows the rules and regulations as per NCTE and Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. Admissions to D.El.Ed are similarly by NCTE guidelines and by the norms of SCERT Lucknow.
