BIET stands for Baghpat Institute of Education and Technology, formed in 2014 for co-educational purposes in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. This affiliated college provides several undergrad courses and is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Established in 1993, BIET occupies a small area of 1.13 acres; the number of students is 160 and the number of faculty members is 11. It offers three-degree programmes in different fields to meet the needs and wishes of students with different futures.

Library College is still an important college component of the source, where it has more than 3000 books and 1000 different titles. It is an open electronic database for faculty and research scholars and contains encyclopaedias, references and textbooks, journals, and magazines. The computerised structure is also sound; the business has centralised computerisation, Pentium IV processors in a dedicated computer centre and Internet connectivity 24/7. In the area of physical, BIET provides sports equipment for playing cricket, football, badminton, and softball. There is also an auditorium for congregations, events, and seminars; a departmental laboratory; a cafeteria; a guest quarter; a shop; and a health centre with first aid amenities. This is an Affiliated College of Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut.

In total, BIET provides only three full-time courses, all of which are spread across various streams. The courses available are, therefore. Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

Admission to BIET differs according to the course one is interested in pursuing. As per the Uttar Pradesh government norms, the admissions for the B.Ed. programme come through an entrance examination and minority quota.
