Bankey Bihari College of Pharmacy at Abohar was set up in 2018 and is a relatively new college with the mission to provide quality education in the field of Pharmacy in Punjab, India. Sited at VPO Alamgarh, Sri Ganga Nagar Road this affiliated college functions in accordance with approval of the PCI and AICTE. The faculty which is located in a two acre campus bases its education on 119 enrolled students. At present, the college proudly has 7 faculty members, thus a small student faculty ration is affordable, which enhances students individual attention and quality education in the field of pharmacy.

There is availability of facilities in the Bankey Bihari College of Pharmacy  that seek to improve the learning process of the students of the college. It plays the role of an information centre where most resources needed in the study of pharmaceuticals are obtained. Accommodated laboratory facilities are essential in creating exposure to enhance practical knowledge in the education curriculum for pharmacy. The college has a good IT support system that enable students avail themselves any new inventions in the field of IT. To facilitate the students there are some features built on the geographic campus such as parking places and a canteen. Also sports facilities are available to encourage physical fitness and taking corrective to academic exercise. The college is affiliated to The Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Chandigarh.

Bankey Bihari College of Pharmacy currently offers one primary course: The post graduate level course is referred as the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). This course is a two-year full-time programme having an intake capacity of 60 students which have been approved for the college keeping in mind the fact that the college offers quality education in one specialised field of pharmaceutical discipline. D.Pharma course structure is such that it tries to equip the student with concepts in pharmaceutical sciences for multilateral prospects in the pharmacy industry.
