It is an affiliated college in Punjab, India, which was established in 2008 and named Bhagwati College of Education Mansa. This co-educational institution situated on three acres of land caters to teacher education. Affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college provides the course of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), having 134 student enrolments in total. Currently, the college has a total of 14 faculty members, which makes the student-staff ratio quite respectable in order to meet the students’ educational needs.

These include facilities in the college geared towards improvement of the learning activities and in general development of students. A boys’ and girls’ hostel is available on the campus to afford accommodation to those students who need it, and the facility offers the best comfort to them. A function library centre provides a collection of books, journals and other information resources as a one-stop centre at the college.

Regarding physical fitness and recreation, the school provides a gym and opportunities to practise in different types of athletic facilities. Set up exclusively for training teachers, Bhagwati College of Education currently provides only one full-time course – B.Ed. There is approval to admit 100 students per academic year in this two-year programme. The B.Ed .course is a comprehensive course, which is specifically required to build a strong footing for an effective teaching profession. At the moment the college offers one degree programme; however, what the college offers is a thorough and focused course in teaching in accordance with the curriculum prescribed by the NCTE.

Being a teaching and training institution, Bhagwati College of Education has probationally enrolled fresh candidates based on their performance in the qualifying or the entrance test. The admission policy of the college is the same as the admission policy of the Punjab government and the university with which the college is affiliated.
