Bharti Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya was established in 2011. It is recognised by the ERC-NCTE Bhubaneshwar and affiliated with Bihar School Examination Board Patna. All the courses offered by BSPM Muzaffarpur are recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). BSPM Muzaffarpur offers courses that include D.El.Ed and B.Ed. 

BSPM Muzaffarpur is an affiliated institution of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. The eligibility criteria for admission to both the courses is 10+2 examination with 50% aggregate marks. Admissions to D.El.Ed course is based on the Bihar B.Ed CET examination, and B.Ed admissions are done through the JET examination.
