Bhutta Polytechnic College an affiliated Institution with Punjab Technical University, situated at Ludhiana – Punjab is committed to provide technical education. This affiliated college was founded in 2011 and has been fostering the young generation for more than ten years. Located on a mere 5 acres campus, the college provides different diploma courses in different engineering streams. The total student intake at Bhutta Polytechnic College is 114 and with 39 faculty members, the student-teacher ratio a highly informative learning environment is maintained.

The college has a number of facilities meant to improve learning academically for the learners that attend the college. The core of academic resources has a central library and all the books needed for the curriculum are placed in this library. The college’s It services are well developed with computer facilities made available to students from their freshman year and all the labs are connected on the internet. Students are able to access online resources through a high speed 30 MBPS School Wide Wifi connectivity throughout the campus.  Another educational service offered seems to highlight the fact that the college espouses skills-based education, a fact which is indicated by well-endowed laboratory facilities. The workshop is the centre of relevance with eight constituent shops, namely carpentry shop, electrical shop, fitting shop, foundry shop, machine shop, sheet metal shop, smithy shop and welding shop. Some of the modern tools of the Tool Room include the CNC Lathe, EDM Wire-Cut, EDM Spark Erosion Machines that expose the students to real industry tools.

Among the full-time diploma courses at Bhutta Polytechnic College, there are five courses and all of them belong to the sphere of engineering. The programmes we are going to elaborate here are intended to give learners a profound and appropriate knowledge of their majors. The college’s list of courses is Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science and engineering, Diploma in electrical engineering, Diploma in mechanical engineering and Diploma in automobile engineering. 

The admission process at Bhutta Polytechnic College is very easy and friendly to all students who want to join the college. Apart from academic-related service, the college provides a range of services for students’ physical and social belonging needs. These include; provision of hostels for out station students, the accommodation being different for boys and girls to ensure they are secure in their hostels. A number of students take coffee at college canteen during intervals and free time between classes.  For those with interest in physical exercise, Sports facilities are also included in the designs, to make sure the students use their free time to engage in sporting activities or join one team or the other. The college has a health center that will enhance the performance of students by providing first aid services. Further, there is enough parking space for all members of the faculty, staff and students as well as for our guests, including our visiting faculty and family members of students.
