The Bishnu Samantaray College Nuahat started its functioning from 1980 and is an affiliated college in Jajpur, Odisha. This is an institution located on a 7.62 acre compound and it exposes students to a number of under graduate arts programs. The college has 600 students strength per intake and faculty of 25 which ensures provision of a conducive environment for students. The college has a aggregate prescribed admission capacity of 88 split amongst all its specialised courses with 24 for BA Odia (Hons) and 16 for all the other honors. They all enable students to follow their passion on the various humanities course offered in the school.
