BR College of Education, Guntur, started its operation in 2007 and is located in Edulapalem Village, Prathipadu Mandal, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. It is an affiliated college and a co-educational institution that is affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for standard of the teacher education programmes offered. Located in a 1.68 acres of land, this college provides two courses and its total admission capacity is 208. The institute has a educator strength of 17 dedicated faculties of education to support with our student friendly faculty ratio that facilitates better teaching learning process. 

BR College of Education, Guntur is affiliated with the university Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. The college aims at making sure that the students gain their education in a favorable environment surrounded by adequate facilities. The campus also has a school library with adequate books as its source of knowledge for the aspiring educators. BR College of Education offers two full-time courses: two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and a two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). But for this type of programmes, usually the maximum number of students that can be enroled is 100 and for both the courses, when summed up, there are a total of 200 seats available. This offers the institution the chance to focus in providing teacher education to their students in readiness to serve this important nation’s growing need for educators.
