BSF Institute of Technology, Bangalore was started in the year 1992 is an affiliated college situated in the progressive city of Bangalore Karnataka. Inter linked between the BSF Campus Subsidiary Training Centre Yelahanka, this co educational institution has been shaping technical minds for over three decades. Its current number of students is 52 and faculty members are 9 and hence is provides optimum learning solution. 

BSF Institute of Technology has multiple facilities which facilitates the comfort and learning of the students during their studies. The campus also provides septic hostel facilities for the male and female students to cater for those students from other towns. A rich library resource centre is a knowledge centre with a modern laboratory facility to enhance learning outcomes in numerous engineering disciplines. The institute also cares for the physical health of its students thus it has sports facilities and a gym for body build up. There is a canteen where the students take foods and an auditorium to provide grounds where major activities are held. Also, there is a health centre on the campus that comprises of first aid services making sure that students are healthy at all times.

At present, BSF Institute of Technology has three full-time diploma courses and all these courses have a duration of three years. These programmes are Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Diploma in Computer Science Engineering. 

BSF Institute of Technology follows the merit based admission criteria after considering their marks in their SSC or its equivalent exam or in 10+2 exam respectively. This approach allows for the identification of learner with adequate level of education so that they are offered the programmes.
