BSR College of Education, Pamuru, was established in the year 2016. Affiliated to the same, in the Pamuru NGO's colony, it has developed real fast to emerge into a cornerstone for aspiring teachers. BSR College of Education is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education to offer a focused curriculum in teacher training. The college has a total student enrolment of 33 and is a co-educational institution, thereby providing an individual learning atmosphere. At present, it offers two specialised degree programmes relating to different areas of teacher education and maintains a well-balanced student-to-teacher ratio in order to ensure the standard of instruction.

BSR College of Education runs two full-time courses, both being two years: the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The enrolment capacity for both programmes is 100 seats each, thereby showing the potential of the institute to groom a substantial number of prospective teachers. This way, the college can pay special attention to teacher training at different educational levels.

Admission details of BSR College of Education are merit-seeker-friendly and inclusive in approach. Admission to the programme B.Ed. will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test, if any, conducted. The college may also consider any other selection process as per the policy of the state government or UT administration and the university. Admission to D.El.Ed. would be merit-based by marks of the qualifying examination and/or results of the entrance exams.
