Buniyadi Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya Churu, a constituent college that shifted from Churu, was established in the year 1953 at Sardarshahr of Churu, Rajasthan. It is a co-educational institution recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offers teacher education programmes alone. The college offers two full-time courses, B.Ed and M.Ed together, its student capacity being 445 in total. The institute currently has 25 members on its teaching faculty; it thus offers its students a reasonable enrolment ratio to faculty members.

Buniyadi Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, Churu, a constituent college of Institute of Advanced Studies in Education, offers a focused curriculum with two primary courses: B.Ed. and M.Ed. Both programmes are full-time programmes of study, with each programme taking two years to complete. The programme that defines the institute is the B.Ed programme that is approved for an intake of 250 seats. This huge capacity, therefore, serves as a clear indication of the college’s capacity to train and produce a large number of competent educators each year.
