• CFTI has released the details of leather footwear program of KVIC.

Established in 1963 under the auspices of the Small Industries Development Organization, CFTI was envisioned to supply a skilled workforce to the burgeoning footwear sector. On January 1st, 1996, the central footwear training centre, Agra changed its name to central footwear training institute and became an autonomous body of the government of India  

CFTI Agra offers various diploma, and advanced diploma courses in Footwear Design and Technology. Central Footwear Training Institute also offers job-oriented courses such as Leather Goods Design and Production, Footwear Machinery Operation and Repair, etc. The Central Footwear Training Institute  has a well-equipped laboratory with a range of machines, tools, and materials to facilitate the learning process. CFTI Agra also offers various value-added services such as placement assistance, guest lectures, industry visits, workshops, seminars, etc. The institute has a strong network with the industry and is actively engaged in promoting the skills of its students.

CFTI Location

The campus is situated in a 7,500 square meter landscape situated on the west side of Agra- Delhi highway at Sikandra. The campus is situated 10 kilometers from the Agra-Kandhi railway station and 12 kilometers from Agra Cantt. The Institute is well connected to the city and easily accessible via city bus service. This idyllic campus serves as the fast track and is the perfect breeding ground for fresh ideas and fresh thinking.
