Cheran College of Education is one of the leading educational institution situated in Karur and was started in the year 2014. This multi-stream college is for both boys and girls in Tamil Nadu and is an affiliated college with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Located on a vast area of 9.18 acres, this college provides a number of courses for the purpose of developing the future teachers. The students enroled for the course are one hundred and ninety-two and the faculty consists of sixteen members.
