The present institutional/virtual setup of Chinmaya College of Arts, Commerce and Science at Ernakulam, Kerala India having its inception in 1995 is an epitome of light house in the region of higher education. Situated in Tripunithura off Layam Road near Statue Junction, this affiliated college has been in operation for about twenty seven years now. The institution provides seven courses under five degree programmes catering for different fields of specialisation. With a total student intake of 744 and having 38 members in the faculty, the college still has a small environment that empowers every student and faculty in achieving the college’s goal of producing quality education.

At present, the Chinmaya College provides a whole host of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The institution offers seven full–time courses out of which BBM, BCA, and B.Com Finance and taxation are some of the favourites and the institution offers an intake of 60 students for each course. Another option for continued learning is an M.Com Finance course consisting of 15 students. The new BA programmes in Economics and English Literature and Communication Studies complete the variety of programmes offered: the former has 30 students, the latter – 24. The availability of these varieties guarantees that students have better options to makes to coincide their studies with their desired careers.
