Chouda Mouza Bidyut Degree Mahavidyalaya has come into existence in the year 1999 and the college is situated at Garhsanput of Puri district Odisha and it is a coeducational college. The present degree college is situated in a campus area of 10 acres and has a wide array of Under Graduate courses. New Avant Garde was established in the year 2001 having an enrolment of 664 students and staff of 20 and has a good platform for learning. The institution has 15 courses in four programme levels of learning with major concentrates in arts and science programmes. 

Chouda Mouza Bidyut Degree Mahavidyalaya owns several facilities that would help in improving the quality of the student experience. A good number of books in the institutional library benefits the students and the faculty members immensely.
