    About City College of Education, Hisar

    City College of Education, Hisar, was established in the year 2008 at Arya Nagar, Hisar, Haryana. This is a co-educational institute with a 2.5-acre campus area. The affiliation of the institution has been made under New Delhi-based National Council for Teacher Education. At present, the student enrolment here stands at 243 in number, with faculty strength reaching 15, offering various academic courses.

    The college has various facilities to provide students with an enriched learning environment. At the centre lie the facilities—beginning with a well-stocked library having more than 7,500 books, complemented with an online issuing and return system. The institute boasts of its much-sought, fully equipped, state-of-the-art ICT resource centre with the latest software, broadband internet, and interactive learning facilities. There exist sports facilities, a gym, and a multipurpose hall known as "NIRBHAR" having an accommodation capacity for more than 300 students for holistic development. The Science and Mathematics Resource Centre (SMRC) provides hands-on experience with learning materials and equipment for Demonstration and experiments. Other facilities provided are the health centre with first aid, the canteen, and guest rooms for visiting faculty and student family members.
