College of Engineering, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University, Indore, was founded in 2016, in Madhya Pradesh, India. Located at a spacious 10-acre land, this AICTE sanctioned college has a multitude of Engineering and Management courses. It has a total student intake of 1,558 and faculty strength of 184 and it has all the facilities to promote the better education. The institution provides 12 courses in 4 degree programmes focusing areas of engineering, MBA and MCA.

The I.T Infrastructure is well endowed with computing facilities that include internet connectivity which enable students access a myriad of resources that enhance their learning as well as for their projects. This knowledge centre is enriched with more than 44321 book and journals, located both nationally and internationally. This service is segmented into references, lending, and book bank for the different types of students in the institution. The campus housesfacilities so convenient like Punjab National Bank ATM and banking. The college caters to the students by offering a first aid section and health care facilities in the college. 

College of Engineering, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University, offers 12 courses that will effectively meet the needs of various learners with different needs. It offers 6 BE, 4 Full time M.Tech programmes and it also offers MBA and MCA courses. The institute offers four regular M.Tech programmes: Computer Science Engineering, Digital Communication, Power System, and Thermal Engineering. There are six B.E. programmes in the College of Engineering offered which are as follows: Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, and Civil Engineering.  All programmes are full time which enhances considerable and concentrated course work. The BE programmes comprise Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Information Technology and Civil Engineering for students’ intake of 660. There are 84 students enrolled in the M.Tech Computer Science, Digital Communication, Power Systems and Thermal Engineering Programmes. Two separate courses known as MBA and MCA provide 120 and 60 seats to the total student intakes of 924 across all the courses.

College of Engineering, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University has only limited number of category TDP admissions based on state level entrance test. Joe Undergraduate engineering programmes, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is used to select students. It is used to impose cut off points and therefore aspiring students must pass this exam in order to gain admission. As for postgraduate engineering programmes there is an entrance examine known as the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). GATE scores are recognized by the college for admitting students to its masters programmes namely M.Tech.
