    The College of Horticulture in Bengaluru, the constituent college specialising in horticulture education was established in 2010. This institution is affiliated with the University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalkot and is situated in the city of Bengaluru Karnataka. The college provides the student with various specialized programmes in horticulture for students in different classes. The college has a total of 472 students and 17 faculties which makes the college a conducive environment for the horticulturist. This institution currently provides four courses to cultivate diverse fields of horticulture and is therefore a specialized agricultural college in south India.

    The College of Horticulture, Bengaluru, provides students with numerous and diverse facilities which are a plus to academic and campus life. The college has all the resources necessary for practical work such as efficient and functional laboratories for horticultural practices and experiments. A library with an extensive collection of books, periodicals, journals and Internet resources brings together valuable horticultural reading for students. The institution provides four main programmes: The undergraduate programmes include a 4-year B.Sc. in Horticulture for fresh undergraduates, a postgraduates programme being a 2-year M.Sc. in Horticulture for those desiring advanced knowledge, a 6-year PhD in Horticulture for scholars desiring research and academic challenges and a 2-year Diploma in Horticulture for executor type. These programmes are designed to take a total of 472 students, this clearly illustrates the college's policy in ensuring that it can enrol only the right number of students in a bid to ensure that it maintains a high quality of delivery.

    . According to last some years cut offs sorry to say but you have very very low chances of getting admission into any government college for agriculture or horticulture too. The cut off ranks for government colleges are generally near to 3000 to 4000 rank approximately for 3A
