The present College of Horticulture, Sirsi was established in the year 2010 at Sirsi is a constituent College imparting horticultural education in the state of Karnataka India. Located at Sirsi in Uttara Kannada district, this institution has its area of learning spread over a vast piece of landscape measuring 32.5 acres. Recognised by the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) the college has a comprehensive programme in horticulture. More so, the current number of students enrolled stands at 254, while the number of faculty members is currently at 17 students making the college compact in terms of class size. It offers one unique course – B.Sc. Horticulture thus taking a succinct focus on the particular niche area of the broad field of agriculture.
