College of Military Engineering (CME), founded in 1948, is located in Pune, Maharashtra. This affiliated college has gotten recognition from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and has earned for itself a reputation for producing quality technical education, especially in military engineering. CME has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, or NAAC, to show commitment to high-status education. While the college has an overall enrolment of 280 students and a faculty of 30 teachers, it has chosen to operate at a small scale across its two diploma courses.

As per the course structure, the college focuses on providing practical knowledge with adequate theoretical lessons in order to prepare the students for challenges of the engineering discipline.
