CSIR – CLRI is one of the premier institutions in India located in Adyar, Chennai Tamil Nadu established in 1948. Having been established as a first-generation research institute under CSIR at South India for over seven decades, it has been a pioneer institute in the field of leather research and leather education. Run as an affiliate unit of Anna University, CLRI provides a wide spectrum of programs in leather technology and chemical engineering applicable for leather and its related industries.
