Dang Seva Mandal, Arts and Commerce College, Umbarthan was established in 2012 only, and it is an affiliated college situated at Umbarthan, Tal-Surgana, Dist-Nashik, Maharashtra. This school is a co-educational school and is located in a small area of land that measures 1.16 acres and thus provides for an effective training ground. The college has a current student population of 440 students and a total of 15 faculty members. Dang Seva Mandal College offers two undergraduate degree programmes clearly indicating its concern for higher education in the arts & commerce stream.

These courses are designed to have an approved enrolment level of 120 students in each enrolment and a total of 240 across the two programmes. The idea makes it possible for the college to keep offering small classes and help students according to their needs. Lack of specific graduation data for the latest year means that it is difficult to visualise the full picture of the college’s productivity in terms of'supplying’ qualified personnel to the corresponding sections of society and the economy; nevertheless, 440 students enrolled in the college testify to a steady stream of graduates.
