Daulat Vishwasth Sanstha's Yashwantrao Chavan Mahavidyalaya, Chandgad, was started in 1989. It is an affiliated college at Halkarni, Chandgad taluka of Kolhapur district, Maharashtra. Its campus covers an area of about 25 acres. This institution has also been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) also. At present, the total number of students in this college stands at 1153, with a faculty strength of 16 members. The college is affiliated with Shivaji University, Kolhapur.

It has a well-equipped gymnasium with sports facility consisting of playgrounds for games like Kabaddi and Kho-Kho. The college also has various athletic events under its umbrella, as per the physical fitness and sporting interests of the students.
