Dehat Vikas College of Pharmacy, Faridabad, was established in the year 1992. This is an affiliated college located in Haryana, India. The total enrolment of the college at present is 136 students enrolled, and the strength in faculties is 8. It currently offers only one degree program, revealing its focused approach towards imparting pharmacy education.
Different facilities are arranged within the campus to make the learning process of the students more enriching. Occupying a central place among them is a well-furnished library covering an area of 1225 sq. The area is 4000 sq. ft. and accommodates more than 4100 books with 517 different titles. Book bank facility is also provided to the students for borrowing textbooks for the entire academic year. Spacious, well-maintained laboratories such as those of pharmaceutics, biochemistry, clinical pathology, and hospital pharmacy are available for practical training, fully equipped to meet regulatory standards. One of the salient features is the medicinal garden within this college campus, which provides an opportunity to the students for practical experience with herbs and plants of medicinal value and helps them get first-hand information about medicinal herbs.The institution provides facilities for cricket, volleyball, and badminton and encourages indoor games for its students desirous of participating in sports and games.
Presently, Dehat Vikas College of Pharmacy imparts only one course: a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma).
