Department Of Computer Science, University Of Delhi, Delhi was established in 1981. The Department of Computer Science has access to modern academic tools accredited to meet its needs. The undergraduate programmes are B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science, B.A. in Computer Applications and B.Sc. in Mathematics. At the postgraduate level, the department offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Science in Computer Science. Further, for the students who are interested in research based courses, the department has a Ph.D. programme in Computer Science.

B.Sc (Hons) Computer Science admission is based on the candidate's performance in CUET UG. It aims to build a strong foundation in principles and applications of computer science.
B.A. Computer Applications also uses CUET UG scores for admission. It is a balanced mixture of computer science and application-oriented courses.
B.Sc Mathematics admission is via CUET UG, and it caters to students interested in the mathematics of computer science.
M.Sc Computer Science admission process consists of two parts as follows:
MCA (Master of Computer Applications) admission is usually based on the entrance examination and interview conducted by the college. This course is designed for students with a keen interest in studying the advanced usage of computers and knowledge in computer applications.
The Ph.D Computer Applications programme is offered to research-oriented students by the department. Without going into specificity, it cannot be excluded that admission usually entails a pretty rigorous selection process that tends to include an entrance test and/or interview strictly analysing research potential and academic background.
