Department Of Computer Science, University Of Delhi, Delhi was established in 1981. The department offers courses in the streams of Sciences, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Computer Applications and IT. The Department Of Computer Science, University Of Delhi, Delhi has 13 dedicated professional faculty members to make the learning environment more effective for the students. The department offers total of six different degree programmes. The department of Computer Science is a constituent college of the University of Delhi, Delhi.
The Department of Computer Science has access to modern academic tools accredited to meet its needs. The college has a library with an array of books and periodicals which cover more than 220000 volume of books and over 27000 e-journals from publishers including IEEE, ACM, Springer etc. The IT facility is also well developed with several desktops and laptops available for students with latest hardware and open-source software. The other facilities include laboratories and seminar rooms equipped with LCD projectors and printing services. The department also provides a specialised laboratory for practicals to complement theory towards enhancing student practical skills.
The courses initiated by the Department of Computer Science cover multiple programmes in different branches. It offers six full-time courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The undergraduate programmes are B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science, B.A. in Computer Applications and B.Sc. in Mathematics. At the postgraduate level, the department offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Science in Computer Science. Further, for the students who are interested in research based courses, the department has a Ph.D. programme in Computer Science.
The admission requirements for the Department of Computer Science is based on the level and type of the course. For the MCA program, the admission criteria included an entrance examination and interview conducted by the college.

There are well-furnished labs, classrooms and a library, and there is a free Wi-Fi connection in the college. The food provided by the mess is decent and in addition, the campus has various other refreshment outlets like Coffee Day Express.

College Infrastructure
The campus is very beautifully built and the hostels have sufficient amenities like wifi, reading rooms, badminton court, common rooms, etc. The hostel is also nice and provides good quality food in mess and canteens.

Campus infrastructure of the building was very good and big. Classrooms were neat and clean. They provided AC rooms for classes. And a large ground is also available there for physical activities. Nice collage.
