About DSCET Chennai

Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering and Technology, Chennai was established in the year 2001, to provide higher education in the disciplines of engineering, management and computer studies. DSCET Chennai is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. The college has received accreditation "A+" Grade by NAAC. The college offers the UG and PG degree courses of Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA).

Admission to Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering and Technology, Chennai are accepted through either government quota or management quota, but management quota admissions are only available for ME/MBA/MCA courses. The BE admission in DSCET Chennai is conducted by Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

The ME/ME/MBA/MCA government quota admissions are dependent on the national/state-level entrance exam scores of CEETA-PG/GATE/TANCET. Meanwhile, management admission in these courses is dependent on the scores of CEETA-PG/GATE/CAT/XAT/ATMA/MAT/TANCET as well as academic merit.

The college provides various infrastructural facilities such as hostel accommodation, medical facilities, sports grounds and gym, library and other such facilities. The DSCET Chennai also has a placement cell which caters to provide placement services and assistance to eligible students, who wish to seek employment after completion of the courses.
