Dhareshwar College of Education started in 2008, is located in Pune and is widely known as a prestigious college specialising in the field of education or training teachers. This co-educated college is situated in Indraprashta Nagar, Dhayari, Pune and functions in affiliation with the University’s norms and guidelines and also approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Located in a small 2 acre land the college provides a niche for students who wish to be trained as teachers. Being an institution providing education to a limited strength of students, the total student intake of Dhareshwar College of Education is 100 while the faculty has 6 members, it is capable of focusing on the needs of its students and providing them with the best teachers. 

Dhareshwar College of Education, Pune is affiliated with the college  Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. Dhareshwar College of Education like any learning institution has put in place various facilities, which would improve students learning processes and overall human development. A well-stocked library consists mainly in books numbering about fifteen hundred books, periodicals, maps, newspapers, and reference materials all these making it a worthy place for academics.
