It is a reputed college that provides a wide course structure for undergraduate degrees in arts, commerce, and science. Currently, the college occupies a small area of 1.012 acres and offers education to a total of 360 students with the help of 18 teaching and non-teaching staff only. The institution's commitment to providing quality education is evident in its offering of three distinct degree programmes: BA, B.Com., and B.Sc.; these are all three-year full-time courses of study. 

Dilip Walse Patil College of Arts, Commercepossesses an assortment of facilities aimed at improving the educational process as well as personality advancement for students. Facilities such as reading rooms, a computer lab, and an unbar contain 3,395 books in English and Marathi worth approximately Rs. 3.88 lakhs in a central library. The library also avails ‘current newspapers and weekly magazines within the institution to enhance readership and lifelong learning. Admission to the B.A. course of DWPCACS provides a full liberal arts education. The B.A. program selects students based on a merit list with marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent). Within the B.A. program, the college also offers many specializations that allow students to pursue their areas of interest in the humanities and social sciences.

The Bachelor of Commerce program at DWPCACS aims to establish a solid foundation of business knowledge and commerce for its students. Admission for B.Com. is conducted on the merit basis of the 10+2 marks, with preference towards students having studied commerce or equivalent subjects at the higher secondary level.

The B.Sc. program at DWPCACS is offered for students intending to build a career in one or the other scientific fields. Admission into the B.Sc. programs is based on merit as determined by the results of the qualifying examinations (10+2 or equivalent). Eligible applicants will be those students who studied one or more science subjects in their higher secondary education (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics).
