Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Institute of D.Pharm is located at Sewagram, Wardha, and was established in 1987. As an affiliated college, the institute enjoys approval by PCI and AICTE and has made pharmaceutical education its special prerogative, with a total enrolment strength of 119 students in its faculty of 12 members. There is only one course the Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) offered at this college—but it does focus on pharmaceutical education. Adarsh Nagar, Sewagram Road, is the location of this institute. Thus, it is easily reached and well connected.

The very heart of its resources is the library, a spacious and well-ventilated hall that can accommodate up to 50 students. The institute library is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on all Saturdays from Monday to Saturday for every student to utilise as a source for personal development as well as academic pursuit.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Institute of D.Pharma delivers only one focused course, which is the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). This two-year full-time course is approved to enrol up to 60 students per year in order to sustain the optimum faculty-to-student ratio and provide quality education.
