Dr. B.C. Roy College of Education this year has registered itself after the approval from NCTE as an affiliated programme. It is situated in Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal. The co-educational college, inclusive of 3.14 acres of area, has been established on the basis of NCTE approval and houses part of two specialised courses on education. It has a total student enrolment of 321 and a faculty strength of 32; the congenial student-to-teacher ratio is 1:10. Dr B.C. Roy College of Education is committed to the quality of education it provides in the preparation of teachers at both the B.Ed. and D.Ed. levels.

The college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and affiliated with Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University (BSAEU), Kolkata.  Facilities available enrich the learning experience.
