Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Karampura Campus, New Delhi is one of the new generation universities which was set up in the year 2016. This 6.5 acre co-educational campus is a branch of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Delhi. At present, Karampura Campus consists of 16 different courses of 5 programmes with an emphasis on the contemporary and liberal arts. The institution has a faculty team of 16 committed teachers who wants to offer a quality education in different fields like Social Sciences, Law, Politics, Urban Studies, etc.

There are several amenities installed within the facility with a purpose of improving the learning environment and personal development of students. The knowledge that is required by students can be accessed through the books once one has made a visit to the library. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Karampura Campus, also has departmental laboratories to facilitate practical experience and the putting into practice of theory seven. There is also an auditorium for events and seminars on campus which improves the academics, and also the cultural lives of the clients. For the student’s comforts, the campus includes these facilities among which is cafeteria meant for eating and interactions. The general concern of the college is modern education and is reflected in the good IT provision which provides students with the relevant technologies.

There are sixteen courses offered by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Karampura Campus, the programmes are of undergraduate and postgraduate levels. At undergraduate level the campus offers programmes like BA in Global Studies, BA in Sustainable Urbanism, BA in Social Science, BA in Law and Political science, each of 63 student intake. The campus also provides opportunities for vocational programmes such as B.Voc in Tourism and Hospitality, Retail Management, Accounting and Finance, Early Childhood Care Management and Entrepreneurship, and every programme has the sanctioned strength of 40 students. In postgraduate level, the institution offers MA in the field of Urban Studies, Global Studies, Law Politics and Society, Criminology and Master of Public Health (MPH). For the research enthusiastic, the campus offers doctorate programmes in Public Health and in Urban Studies.

The admission policy at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Karampura Campus supports the disabled and is based on merit. It use scores in the previous qualifying examinations, entrance tests and occasionally interviews or statement of purpose.
